Ramgarhia College, Phagwara was established in in 1946.

The institute is affiliated to Guru Nanak Dev University (GNDU), Amritsar.

It was founded by the great Philanthropist, Humanitarian and Visionary S. Mohan Singh Hadiabadi (Founder President REC).

It is one of the oldest and prestigious institutes of Punjab. Ramgarhia College is co-education institute catering to the educational need of the area in the fields of Science, Arts, Commerce, Computer and some post graduate classes for a very long period.

The college has produced many eminent educationists posts ad have played significant role in nation building.

The college has created a special niche in the fields of sports, particularly in weight lifting, power lifting and wrestling.
