Raksha Shakti University, Meghaninagar was established in 2009.

Its managed by the Government of Gujarat and approved by UGC.

The Raksha Shakti University is a unique and first of its kind in India for conducting certificate, diploma and degree courses in the field of Police science and internal security.

The vision of the university is to establish as a center of excellence with social commitment, integrating modern, scientific and technological knowledge and skills in police and security administration, which is vital for maintenance of law and order and ensuring peace and harmony in society.

The main objective of the university is to train and prepare manpower to tackle the upcoming challenges of various types of offences such as terrorism, economic offences, cyber crime, telecommunication offences and the offences requiring expertise in forensic science.

Their mission is to impart customized education to the youth of the country in all vital aspects of internal security to ensure specialized and trained personnel available for employment in various security agencies like police force, defense, private security etc.
