R.R.M.K Arya Mahila Mahavidyalaya, Pathankot was established in 1969.

Its affiliated to Guru Nanak Dev University.

The college is managed by the ARYA VIDYA SABHA (Regd), Which apart from this institution, is also managing three other institutions, viz, Arya Senior Secondary School for boys, Arya Senior Secondary School for Girls and Smt. Mela Devi Kalra Arya Public School, Pathankot.

To impart higher education to the Girls of the town and sub-urban areas Arya National Academy was formed as a offshoot of Arya Girls Higher Secondary School by Mrs.S.Mohan, former Principal of the School.

Initially it was given place in huts and cottages. Credit goes to the eminent Kalra family of the town whose senior members,revered Late Sh.Ram Rakha Mal Kalra Ji donated Rs.One Lakh towards the construction of the rooms for Teaching block and thus shaped it into the college.
