Punjabi University Guru Kashi College, Talwandi Sabo. (Dist. Bathinda) was established in 1964 and founded by the Sant Fateh Singh to fulfill the blessings of their 10th Guru.

The college is affiliated with Punjabi University, Patiala and it is recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) under section 2(f) & 12(B) under Act, 1956.

The aim of the college was too highly oriented towards the extension of professional education in the management and computer application areas in an otherwise backward rural region.

Punjabi University Guru Kashi College, Talwandi Sabo. which was started in the 1960s has become an integral part of the Campus. Guru Kashi College was set up their campus in Punjabi University in 1988 for transforming the education scene.

After the campaign against Mughal tyranny, Guru Gobind Singh stayed here for several months and established a school of learning in Sikh theology and blessed it as a name of "Guru Ki Kashi". Later it was renamed as Punjabi University Guru Kashi College.

Before declaring this college as the constituent college of the Punjabi University on 1st May 2001, The college was managed through management.

It was a co-educational government Institute, provided a regular course in which is located in the rural part of Bathinda played a pioneering role in the field of higher education.

The college also received the numbers of achievements awards in the field of education, sports and curricular activities under Punjabi University, Patiala.

The college offers three years undergraduate courses in Bachelor of Arts, Science, and Commerce streams and offers two years of post-graduation in Arts, Science, and Commerce streams with various specializations under Punjabi University, Patiala. It also offers Post Graduate Diploma.
