Punjab Aircraft Maintenance Engineering College (PAMEC), Patiala was established in 1980.

The college PAMEC was established by the Punjab Government to impart Ab-intio training in the field of Aircraft Maintenance Engineering.

The institute was approved by the Director General of Civil Aviation and AICTE and Technical Teachers Training Institute, Chandigarh respectively.

The institution aim is to impart the training to students in the field of Aircraft Maintenance Engineering for obtaining Basic Licence.
