The college is affiliated to Anna University and approved by All India Council of Technical Education.

The college PSNCET was established by great visionaries and is headed by the managing trustee and chairman Dr.P.Suyambu, a multifarious personality and admirable academic brilliance.

PSN College of Engineering and Technology has been conferred autonomy status by University Grants Commission (UGC), New Delhi.
