Prof. Dhanapalan College For Women, Chennai was established in 1991.

Its affiliated ot University of Madras.

over a period of 18 academic years has grown to a strength of 1450 students in 2008 from the humble number of 27 students in 1991.

It was started with five Under Graduate courses in the field of Science, Management and Commerce.

At present the college offers 10 Under Graduate Programmes & 8 Post Graduate Programmes.

Our vision is to build this college into a strong temple of learning on par with universities of excellence in learning and research and to serve as one of the best colleges in the world and also to serve the humanity for all times to come.
