Post Graduate College (PGCS), Secunderabad was established in 1947.

It is a Constituent College of Osmania University established as Arts & Science College, Secunderabad. It is affiliated to Osmania University and accredited by NAAC with 'A' Grade.

The college is a co-educational institution and is considered one of the best institutions of higher education in the twin cities of Hyderabad and Secunderabad.

PGCS, Secunderabad has well-equipped Science Laboratories, Computer Labs, Health Centre and Conference Hall. Its hostel can accommodate about 400 post-graduate students. The college has about 1,000 Graduate students and 800 PG students. It also imparts education to foreign students.

Candidates once admitted are required to have not less than 75% of attendance in lectures (and practicals wherever applicable), otherwise they will not be entitled to appear.

•     Return of T.C.: The T.C. submitted at the time of admission will be returned to the candidate only if he / she cancels his / her admission on or before last day of admissions.  On cancellation of admission after the last date of admissions, the T.C. of P.G. College (O.U.), Secunderabad will be issued.  Request for cancellations should be made under the applicant’s own signature   
• Students who have pursued a course of study partially at this College but wish to be admitted again to I Semester with / without  a change of Faculty or Combination, will be considered on merit (based on their intermediate marks) along with other fresh applications
