PES University (PES), Bangalore was established in 1972.

Formerly known as PES Institute of Technology (PESIT), PES University (PESU) is a private university was established in 1972. It is managed by the People's Education Society (PES).

PES University, located in Bangalore, India is one of the country’s leading teaching and research universities. The University is committed to providing “navigation for the real world” that inspires students to find their true north.

Our students graduate with the ability to adapt to an intellectually and technologically changing environment. Over the years, we have accomplished this with the participative efforts of the management, staff, students and parents.

CAMPUS LIFE

The Leafy PES Campus Offers delightful spaces for studying, living and interaction. The Excellent residential facilities have been carefully planned according to International Standards. Our hostels on the campus well-ventilated, Comfortable rooms, stringent, Round-the-clock security arrangments and a doctor on call service that all student needs are attended to. Common recreational areas help develop a sense of camaraderie and foster long-term bonds. The modern cafeteria, with its open kitchenand airy patio is equipped to serve hundreds of students.

INFRASTRUCTURE AT PES

The creation of supporting infrastructure is the a major element of our core strategy. Infrastructure at PES is carefully developed in response to student and faculty needs and ensures that there are no boundaries between the discovery, transfer and application of knowledge. Together, they comprise over 3.5 million square feet of built-up area and acres of open grounds. With a 750-bed super speciality hospital, the PES Institute of Medical Sciences and Research at Kuppam, Andhra Pradesh, has a built-up area of more than 1 million square feet. The PES University sprawls over 30 lush acres with world class infrastructure and amenities. The PES University is a multi-disciplinary University Campus with Engineering, Medicine and Management courses on offer.

Internship

Provides summer internship program in which batch, consisting of 20+ students will spend 5 to 6 weeks at the host university

They have to choose one course in engineering in one of the research domain areas for four weeks and spend one to two weeks in a dedicated research facility/lab on a live project

Probable dates of commencement of the program are in the month of June 15

Eligibility

Students of Fifth semester should be ready to spend 5-6 weeks in on the campus of a US University after the completion of sixth semester

Student should qualify in the exam and viva voce as per the procedure and criteria determined by PESU and partner University. PESU s decision in this regard will be final.

The student and guardian should submit signed undertakings to abide by the rules in respect of the program as framed by the universities
