Pavai Arts & Science College for Women, Namakkal was established in 2009. It is affiliated to Periyar University, Salem. It is located in the village of Anaipalayam, Rasipuram, on the National Highways. The college offers nine U.G. Courses, Four P.G Courses and four M.Phil Research Programs. The college has highly qualified and dedicated faculty who make every effort to uplift the students both in curricular and extra-curricular activities. We strive to develop confidence in the minds of our students enabling them to become educated, cultured and disciplined students to serve our society as well as our nation.

The pavai Varam Educational Trust was originally founded and constituted by eminent professionals - a leading Chartered Accountant, a big Sago Industrialist and well-known Pediatric Surgeon. The trust functions at Rasipuram, the oldest town, ruled then by Valvil Ori, Known for ghee, silk, sago (sabudana) and now is most popular for "Quality Education'. Rasipuram, a place apreciated for hospitality, is at present, a place recognized for professional education. To be the Diamond in the Crown of Rasipuram, Pavai  Varam Educational Trust wad established with the basic principle of providing a purposeful and goal-oriented technical education.
