P. N. Das College (PNDC), North 24 Parganas was established in 1962 by Late Debesh Das,a timber merchant.

He provided the necessary finance to the college in memory of his father Late Priya Nath Das.

It is a co-educational and affiliated college.

The college was established for the progress and benefit of local students in socially and economically.

The aim of the institution is to give its pupils a congenial atmosphere of learning, by taking individual care of each student and building up an intimate relationship between the teachers and the taught.

The college offers Under graduate courses in Arts and commerce stream.

The college has state-of-the-art technologies and infrastructure.
