Parvathaneni Brahmayya (P.B) Siddhartha College of Arts & Science, Vijayawada was established in 1975.

It is affiliated to Acharya Nagarjuna University, Guntur and accredited by NAAC with 'A' Grade. The college is maintained under Siddhartha Academy. This is the first college in the jurisdiction of Acharya Nagarjuna University to receive accreditation at ‘A’ level by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council, Bangalore.

The college has been shifted to The Jurisdiction of Krishna University, Machilipatnam in 2009–10. University Grants commission (UGC) has conferred the status on the college “College with potential for Excellence”. Recently, the NAAC reaccredited the college at the level ‘A’ with 3.23 on 4 point scale.

The PB Siddhartha College believes in the axiom ‘Enter to learn, leave to serve’ and live as ‘Siddharthian’. It is the centre of soft skills, study skills, memory skills, career clues and media matters. Recently, the UGC has recognized the institution as “Community College”.
