The vision of the institute is to spread latest open source technologies across India percolating down from it professionals to students.

OpenKick Technologies plans to achieve its vision of spreading the knowledge of open source technologies, initially by training IT professionals, followed by associating with IT companies to provide corporate training to their staff and finally collaborating with schools in providing open source training to its students.
