NSM College of Education, Jammu was established in 1994-95.

The College is being run by N.S.M. Educational Society registered with the competent authority under the Societies Act, with its registered office at Talab Tillo, Jammu.

The Chairman of the society is Sh. T. R. Mahajan , a renowned Educationist.

The college is An ISO 9001 : 2000 Certified Institute, recognised by the govt. of J&K and is affiliated to the University of Jammu.

Their aim is to create awareness among all sections of the society so as to enable them to play their role as enlightened citizens of the State of J&K and the country as a whole.

N.S.M. College of Education uses rigorous and intensive integrated teaching methods to prepare future teachers.
