Nowgong Polytechnic, Nagaon was established in 1961.

Is a premier diploma level technical residential institute located in the central part of Assam.

The academic programmer of Nowgong Polytechnic commenced in 1961. At present the Institute has four departments covering all the major Diploma Engineering programmes.

Within a short period of time, Nowgong Polytechnic, Nagaon has been able to build up the necessary infrastructure for carrying out advanced research and has been equipped with state of the art scientific and engineering instruments.
