Newton's Institute of Engineering (NIE), Guntur was established in 2001.

It is approved by AICTE and affiliated to JNTU University with a mission to make the best engineers with good attitude, skill and knowledge; an institute, which in due course of time to become an epicenter of knowledge for creative solutions.

Newton’s strives to be a leader in Technical Education by excelling in Science, Technology and Management through effective Teaching, Learning and Research in view of building an indigenous nation.

Newton’s Institute of Engineering (NIE) and Newton’s Institute of Science & Technology (NIST) established by Lincoln’s Educational Society are located at Macherla around 15 kms away from Nagarjuna Sagar Dam.

NIE  and NIST is a sprawling 35 acres college campus with beautifully landscaped gardens. The magnificent Nagarjuna Sagar Dam and Ethipothala waterfalls on one side and thicky forested green hill and vast open spaces on the other, the lawns and landscapes in the campus provide a conducive environment for learning.

With more than a decade of academic excellence, Newton’s Institutes have become an educational hub for students seeking high-quality technical education and impressive placements. The modern building with its state-of-the-art infrastructure and amenities is well equipped with Electronic, Computer, Electrical, Civil and Mechanical labs which have been constructed as per AICTE and JNTUK norms and specifications.
