New Ideal College of Education, Trichy was established in 2006.

The College is managed under New Ideal Educational Public Trust.

New Ideal College of Education and New Ideal Teacher Education Academy are situated in the outskirts of Trichy Corporation and in the middle of the National Highways, ‘Trichy-Viralimallai-Madurai’ and ‘Trichy-Dindugal-Madurai’.

With panchayat approval the construction of the spacious two storeyed building, each floor with an approximate area of 25000 sq.ft had started in the Trust lands spreading about seven in Chettiyuranipatti (16 kms from Trichy Central Bus stand) Village.

First floor with an area of 25,000 sqft will be completed this year. 15,000 sq.ft of the building is ready for use now itself.

Though situated near the city of Trichy, the Campus of the institutions has noise free, calm and serene atmosphere and unpolluted air and water. Both the Institutions are co-educational.
