National Law University Jodhpur,Rajasthan was establishing a premier law school had been initiated as far back as the year 1992.
But it became a reality only with the passing of the National Law University, Jodhpur Act in 1999.
The founding fathers dreamt of an institution, which would not only cater to the requirements of the Bar but also fulfill the needs of newly liberalized trade, commerce and industry, simultaneously keeping the internationalization of the profession in perspective.
