Muthurangam Government Arts College, Vellore was established in 1965.

The college is affiliated to Thiruvalluvar University and the MBA courses offered by the college is approved by AICTE.

The college is accredited by NAAC with B grade and the college got autonomous status by UGC.

The college caters to first-generation, marginalized and rural students.
