Muslim College of Education, Thiruvithancode was established in 2006.

Its affiliated to Madurai Kamaraj University.

at giving standard education which develops the total personality of the student for that they become worthy citizen of the country with religious, love and affection towards their brethren.

The College is a benefaction under the Society known as Muslim Education Society, Kanyakumari District at Thiruvithankode.

The Muslim Educational Society was founded in 1981 with a laudable aim of fulfilling a long felt need of minority Muslim Community of the Kanyakumari district to establish an Arts and science College of their own.So the college was founded at Madhavalayam in 1982 after seeking permission from the Government and Madurai Kamaraj University.

The University granted affiliation in 1984.

Then the college was shifted from Madhavalayam to Thiruvithancode in a large beautiful existing Jalal Building which was constructed by late Janab M.S.Mohideen Malik Mohamed.The society was formed by the Muslim Community of Kanyakumari District.
