Mother Theresa Arts and Science College is established in 2018 by Service and Education for Village Awareness and Improvement Society (SEVAI Society). It was permitted by the Government of Tamil Nadu in 2018 and got affiliated to Madurai Kamaraj University in 2019.

The emblem of the college indicates that this is a Christian institution. The symbols such as book, bird, person and star stand for intellectual and character formation. The words obedience, wisdom and lighten imply shining in life.

Our mission is to foster intellectual vigour and thirst for knowledge, promote noble qualities and moral rectitude, bring about changes for betterment of people and the country and produce leaders in all walks of life.
