Mithibai College of Arts, Chauhan Institute of Science & Amrutben Jivanlal College of Commerce and Economics, Mumbai was established in 1961

Its affiliated to University of Mumbai by Shri Vile Parle Kelavani Mandal (SVKM) as a part of its own silver jubilee celebration.

Amrutben Jivanlal College of Commerce and Economics was an addition in the year 1980.
