MCT Training College, Malappuram was established in 1995.

The college is managed under Muslim Cultural Trust.

MCT Training College is a College of Teacher Education affiliated to the University of Calicut, Kerala.

MCT Training College is one of the premier institutions of the State.

The College is enjoying NCTE recognition from the year 1997 itself. The College is situated on a beautiful hilltop.

The campus is just 2 Kms. away from ALATHURPADI bus stop (6 Kms from Malappuram Town) on the NH 213 (Calicut - Palakkad).

The Muslim Cultural Trust, Malappuram which is managing the institution is headed by Panakkad Sayed Rasheedali Shihab Thangal.

The Trust is running a Teacher Training Institute in the same campus. NCTE, SRC, Bangalore Sanctioned recognition for starting M Ed course from the year 2007-08.

The aim of the Trust is to bring higher education to the doorsteps of the ordinary citizens of the District.
