Manyavar Kanshiram Government Degree College, Ghaziabad was established in 2008. Its affiliated to University of Lucknow. The foundation stone of this college waslaid down by honorable Dr. Rakesh Dhar Tripathi, Minister of Higher Education UP Govt. in the presence of Dr. Mian Jan, Director Higher Education UP, Dr. Chander Vijai Chaturvedi, Honorary Advisor of Minister of higher education & Vice Chancellor and Registrar of CCS University, Meerut. Local people were also present at that time and were happy that the govt. has taken a vigilant step and has opened a college in a remote area of Ghaziabad.

The college is co-educational and is affiliated to CCS University. The first session of the college was started in 2008-2009. Although it's a beginning but the College is having a very good reputation among students and public at large because of it;s disciplined and cultured environment. The faculties of this are dedicated, hard working and passionate towards the success of the college and its students. The college also has amicable environment to give equal opportunity to each and every student, be it a boy or a girl. We emphasize in giving moral values to each and every child what is much needed in today's world.

Our college is in nascent stage, so our focus is to develop the infrastructure so as to give all required facilities to our students but gradually we will attain excellence in every aspect and will leave no stone unturned in nurturing it.
