Majhighariani Institute of Technology & Science (MITS), Rayagada was established in 1999 under the patronage of Basantadevi Charitable Trust.
The college is affiliated to Biju Patnaik University of Technology (BPUT), Odisha & Berhampur University and also approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi.
