Mahatma Gandhi College (MGC), Lalpur was established in 1981.

The college is affiliated to Sidho Kanho Birsha University, Puulia and accredited by NAAC.

Objective

The primary objective of the founders of this college is to provide a scope & opportunity of higher education to the people of this locality sepecially amongst the women and who are economically weak and are not in a position to send their wards to a distant college. Thus the vision & mission of our institution has already been set by them
