Maa. Jagdamba (M.J.) College, Bhilai was established on 20th July 2001 under by Maa. Jagdamba Educational society, Bhilai.  It is one of the premier institutions to impart & provide a platform in the field of higher education for the deserving candidates and prove to be a milestone in the path of progress.

The college is situated in the heart of Raipur city in a huge area of 3.4987 acres with a built-up area of 60800 sq.ft. comprising of 26 classrooms, 8 laboratories, Central Library, Computer Center etc.

The college is affiliated to Pt. Ravishankar Shukla University, Raipur and It is accredited by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) with "B" Grade in 2009.

It is recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) under section 2(f) & 12(B) Act, 1956 in the year 2014 and for Bachelor of Education Course (B.Ed) the college is recognized by National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE).

The college is one of the reputed institution dedicated to the promotion of education culture, and human values, in fact, all round human development our mission is to provide a unique learning experience which will enable the students to realize their innate potential and mold their overall personality. The basic motive is to empower the students to face the challenges of life with courage and commitment.

Ravishankar Shukla University, Raipur. It also offers some Management Courses / Career Oriented Courses / Add-On Course.
