M.G. Science Institute, Ahmedabad (Mafatlal Gagalbhai Science Institute, Ahmedabad) was established on 15th July 1946 under the management of Ahmedabad Education Society.

The college is affiliated to Gujarat University, Ahmedabad and recognized by University Grants Commission (UGC) under section 2(f) & 12(B) under Act, 1956. It is re-accredited by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) with "A" Grade on 10th February 2007.

M.G.Science Institute is a leading institute offering Undergraduate and Postgraduate degree courses in various disciplines of Science. There are 10 subjects taught at Undergraduate level and 2 subjects at Postgraduate level.
