M.A. College (MAC), Lemalo was established in 1981.

This is a private, affiliated college. The college is providing higher quality education to the students and excels in areas pertaining to their all round development and up gradation of society at large. Its aim is to cater the needs of the rural youths of Orissa.

The college is providing the under graduate course in the discipline of Arts. All academic activities are carried out in accordance with Utkal University.

Qualified teachers are associated with the college, in order to impart quality education. The college is well- equipped with all modern facilities.

The college comes under the Utkal University, is the seventeenth oldest University in India.

Its present campus at Vani Vihar, Bhubaneswar is located on a sprawling 399.9 Acre area in the heart of the capital city of Orissa.

The Foundation stone of this Campus was laid by Dr. Rajendra Prasad, the first President of India on 1st January 1958 and the Campus was inaugurated by Dr. S. Radhakrishnan, the second President of India. It has been recognized by UGC and it also has the membership of the Association of Indian Universities (AIU).
