The Leelabai Thackersey College of Nursing is a professional college and conducts a four-year programme leading to a B.Sc. Degree in Nursing.

The college was established as a department in 1952 and was raised to a full-fledged college in 1964.

The college was recognized by the Maharashtra Nursing Council and recognized by the Government of Maharashtra.

The college is a constituent college of the S.N.D.T. Women’s University and draws its objectives from the philosophy and policies of the University.
