Late Shree N.R. Boricha Education Trust Sanchalit Arts and Commerce College, Junagadh was established in 1992. It is situated in Mendarda which is a rural area of Junagadh District.

It is one of the premier institutions to impart & provide in the field of higher education for the deserving candidates and prove to be a milestione in the part of progress.

The college is affiliated to Saurashtra University, Rajkot and recognized by University Grants Commission (UGC) under section 2(f) & 12(B) under Act, 1956. It is re-accredited by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) with "B" Grade - (CGPA Score 2.12 on a 4 Point Scale in 2nd Cycle) on 21st February 2014.

The primary objective of the institution when it was established was to open up the doors of higher education in the region with a view to provide the very access to higher education for the rural youth to whom it was a distant dream.

The institution has definitely achieved this objective by having started its mission with offering graduation degree in Arts and Commerce faculties within its progression in the first decade.

Late Shree N.R. Boricha Education Trust Sanchalit Arts and Commerce College is established in Mendarda which is a rural area of Junagadh District. The institute is in the lap of nature. It is a matter of pride for the people of Mendarda Taluka because this is a rural place where to start a college is very difficult.

But late founder and president of this institute is a man of determination. He thought about the higher education of the rural youth of Mendarda Taluka and thus started Arts and Commerce College in 1992.

He got sound donation from great philanthropist Hon. Deepachandbhai Gardi and constructed college building within a short time period. The teaching-learning process is started in the new building in 1998.

The college offers three year degree courses in Arts & Commerce stream under Saurashtra University, Rajkot. It also offers some Certificate & Add-on courses.
