KSM College of Education for Women, Madurai was established by K.S. Memorial Education Trust in 2005-2006.

Its affiliated to Tamil Nadu Teachers Education University.

Its an self financing Institute and dedicated to serve the society as centre for learning with emphasis on Teaching Education.

The Trust achieved the task of establishing the college with a B.Ed. K.S.M.College of Education for Women strives continuously to achieve academic excellence in Education through dedication to duty, innovation in teaching, with faith to contribute values of life to the future generation.

The college dedicates itself to enable its students to develop into outstanding professionals with high moral standards.

A variety of teaching and learning techniques are employed to impart knowledge and skills to students at K.S.M. College of Education for Women.

The College was established after obtaining the recognition to condut B.Ed, Course in KSM College of Education for Women, Therkkutheru Panchayat, Melur Taluk, Madurai District - PIN - 625 122 from the academic year of 2005-2006 with an intake of 100 students under the recognition order FSRO / NCTE / B.ED / 2005-2006 / 5001 dated 27 Dec, 2005 issued by the National Council for Teacher Education statutory Body of the Government of India.

Additional 100 seats were sanctioned by the NCTE under the recognition order F.SRO / NCTE / B.Ed., - A1/2008-2009 / 4246 dated 27th Aug, 2008.

The College is located in a rural area at Therkkutheru Panchayat, Melur Taluk, Madurai District having a campus of 5.18 acres (21,000 Sq.Mts) in a spacious building put up with an impeccable infrastructure required for the B.Ed., course as per the normsof the NCTE,.

The College provides a dedicated, sincere and earnest team of faculty.

The College provides Quality Education for the students, the future sculptors of the Nation.

The College is well-furnished with all the basic requirements and caters to the needs of the staff and students.

The College has created a niche in the annals of the history securing University Ranks for the past four years and as an added feather on the cap there are more than 75% of the students who have come out successfully with distinctions.

The students participate in the Inter-Collegiate Competitions and bring laurels to the College which is a milestone in the history of the College.
