Krishnanagar B.Ed College(KBEC), Krishnagar was established in 1961.

It is managed and run by "Bibhuti Bhusan Bandapadhya Philanthropic Society", a non profiteering 'Society' duly registered under Societies Registration Act.,1961, Regn. No. being S/IL/22173 of 2004-2005 Dt.08/06/2004.

The college is a co- education college and affiliated to the University of Kalyani, West Bengal and recognized by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE).

The college stands among the renowned colleges that impart one year B.Ed programme in West Bengal.

The College is associated with well experienced and qualified lecturers to train the aspiring teachers. The college has state-of-the-art infrastructure.
