Krishna's Pragati Institute of Technology, Rajahmundry was established in 2008 under the guidance of Sri Prakash Group.

The college is affiliated to Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU), Kakinada and is among the upcoming colleges of science & technology in the state.

It has also got the approval of All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi.

Krishna's Pragati Institute of Technology with an aim to impart quality education to the aspirants conducts four-year undergraduate degree course in various branches of engineering.

The autonomous institution boasts of providing theoretical education along with practical exposure.
