Konaseema Institute of Medical Sciences, Amalapuram was established in 2005.

The institute is affiliated to Dr. NTR University of Health Sciences, Vijayawada and approved by the Medical Council of India (MCI), Government of India, New Delhi.

KIMS objective is to develop competent medical professionals who are well grounded in both the science and art of medicine.

Towards that end, KIMS has built up the necessary infrastructure.
