after approving permission from the Medical Council of India (MCI) and Ministry of Health, Government of India. KMCT Medical College is a self financing institution run by Kunhitharuvai Memorial Charitable Trust (KMCT) established in 1994 by Dr. K Moidu.

Dr. K Moidu is a leading medical practitioner with the support of their children all of whom are also into the medical profession. The trust is a registered public trust managed by a board of trustees of high public eminence.

KMCT Medical College is committed to excellence in providing quality education to health care Professionals through outstanding Teaching and Research and the establishment of state of art facilities.

KMCT Medical College started with a 350 Bedded hospital situated within the Campus which caters to the needs of the poor. Students of Medical Courses utilize the facilities of the Hospital for their medical training. Medical College Hospital provides exemplary services in medical care with quality human resources.
