Kanachur Pre-University College for Women, Mangaluru (Dist. Dakshina Kannada) was established in 2007 by Kanachur Islamic Education Trust (R).

It is established under the management of Kanachur Academy of Gen Education, Deralakatte.

The college is affiliated to Department of Pre-University Education, Karnataka. It is also recognized and approved by Department of Education, Government of Karnataka.

The main aim of the college is determined to provide the quality education to the students. With the correct mix of technology and human touch, the college empowers the aspiring teachers to propagate education through the rungs of the society so that they serve the nation while making a satisfying career for themselves.

Kanachur Academy of Gen Education runs educational institutions with the motto “empowerment for excellence”. The Premier institution, established in 2002 is the Kanachur Public School. Kanachur Pre University College and Kanachur Institute for Management and Science were established subsequently to provide quality higher education.

At present, this college offers two years intermediate courses in Arts, Science, & Commerce streams under Department of Pre-University Education, Karnataka.
