Kalsar College of Engineering, Kanchipuram was established in 1998. It was established under the initiative and impetus of the Chairman of the Kalsar Educational Charitable trust; to fulfill the wishes of the philanthropic elders.

The college is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi and recognized by the Government of Tamilnadu and affiliated to Anna University, Chennai.

The motto of the college is to impart and fine-tune the modules of knowledge and to mould the professional urge in the students to the best, reputed outlet.
