Kalai Kaviri College of Fine Arts, Tiruchirappalli was established in 1996.

with the recognition of the Govt. of Tamil Nadu, for teaching dance and music of South Indian classical.

The college is affiliated to Bharathidasan University.

Kali Kaviri is said to be the first and the only college offering bachelors and masters degree courses in Bharathanatyam and in South Indian classical music.

There are a number of physically challenged students in the college who are supported by various means of the college.

The college offers four-year and two-year certificate and diploma courses in classical music.
