Kala Pathar Dhala Pathar College (KPDPC), Kalapathar was established in 1990.

This is a private, affiliated college. The college is providing higher quality education to the students and excels in areas pertaining to their all round development and up gradation of society at large. Its aim is to cater the needs of the rural youths of Orissa.

The college offers the undergraduate level course in Arts stream.

There are at present twenty-seven Post-Graduate Departments located in the University Campus for Post-Graduate studies and research in various disciplines of Science, Humanities, Business Administration, Social Science, Law and Commerce.

The total number of students in the P.G. Department of the campus at Vani Vihar is nearly 3,000.
