Its affiliated to the Periyar University.

It is a unique, Telugu Chetty minority self financing Teacher Training Institution in Tamilnadu.

The College is recognized by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), Bangalore.

The College is managed under the Hindu Telugu Chetty Minority Trust for Education and Community Development. K. R. Teacher Training Institution aims to render quality of education for the pupils.

Not only to get centum Results but also to mould student-teachers versatile.

The aim of KRTTI is to produce sincere and noble teachers to uplift our society. Under the guidance and supervision of the teacher educations, the students develop their personality and skills.
