K. L. M. College Of Engineering For Women (KLMCEW), Kadapa was established in 2008.

It is affiliated  to Jawaharlal Nehru Technological university (JNTU), Anantapur and approved by All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi.

AICTE and affiliated to Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University.

Kandula Lakshumma Memorial College of Engineering for Women (K.L.M.C.E.W) is situated beside K.S.R.M, 7K.Ms away from the City in a sprawling and pleasant atmosphere on Kadapa to Pulivendula state Highway along with the Hostel exclusively for women.

Kadapa is on Renigunta-Guntakal Railway line connecting major cities like Chennai, Mumbai and Hyderabad. Excellent bus facilities exist from Kadapa to Hyderabad, Vijayawada, Nellore, Tirupati, Kurnool and other major towns.  The nearest airport  to Kadapa is at Tirupati.

This college is started with a purpose of paying a rich   tribute to Late   Smt. Kandula Lakshumma, W/o Late Sri Kandula Obul Reddy, a celebrity of Yesteryears and philanthropist.  The family of Late Sri Kandula Obul Reddy has an earnest desire to impart quality technical education for Women in Andhra Pradesh.  The Kandula family has a great vision in  imparting Technical Education resulting in the establishment of an industrial training institute at Vempalli and subsequently an Engineering college, namely K.S.R.M. in the memory of Late Sri K. Srinivasa Reddy, S/o Late Sri K. Obul Reddy who met with an untimely death in a scooter accident while he was studying 3rd B.Tech Mechanical Engineering at Delhi College of Engineering, New Delhi in the year 1980.

Later K.O.R.M College of Engineering for which Sri K. Sivananda Reddy, Ex.M.L.A, as Chairman was established under the Kandula Group of Educational Institutions beside the campus of K.S.R.M. College of Engineering.  The Kandula Group is added with one more feather in its cap through establishing K.L.M College of Engineering for Women under the auspices of Late Smt. Kandula Lakshumma Memorial Educational Society with Sri K. Sivananda Reddy, Ex. M.L.A, as Secretary cum correspondent.
