Jyoti Rao Phulle Subharti Physiotherapy College (JRPSPC), Meerut got affiliated to Dr. B.R. Ambedkar University, Agra in 1999.
The affiliation was transferred to Ch. Charan Singh University;Meerut w.e.f. academic session 2006 in view of the new Government policy that the institute should remain affiliated to the University of its own geographical jurisdiction.
From academic session 2008 onwards Subharti Phisiotherapy college (BPT & MPT degree Courses) is functioning under Swami Vivekanand Subharti University, Meerut. Subharti Physiotherapy College aim to identify and maximize the quality of life and movement potential within the spheres of promotion, prevention, treatment/intervention, habilitation and rehabilitation.
This encompasses the physical, psychological, emotional, and social well being of the patients.
The entire process involves the interaction between physical therapist (PT), patients/clients, other health professionals, families, care givers, and communities in a process where movement potential is assessed and goals are agreed upon, using knowledge and skills unique to physical therapists.
The students of the college are exposed and trained not only by the modern means of didactic teaching, but also training in the form of hands on experience in our 740 bedded Chhatrapati Shivaji Subharti Hospital.
The students are exposed to hospital training in the Physiotherapy Out-patient and in patient departments of C.S.S. Hospital Meerut. The college is recognized by Indian Association of Physiotherapists (IAP).
