Jiwaji University (JU), Gwalior was established in 1964.

It was established as a teaching and affiliating university under the provision of M. P. Government.

Vision & Mission:

The vision and mission of the institute is to educate students from all over India, including those from the local and rural areas, and from other countries, so they become enlightened individuals, improving the living standards of their families, industry and society.

University provides individual attention, world-class quality education and takes care of character building. This was the first university in the state to implement the self supporting programmes.
