Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College (JNMC), Belguam was established by KLE Society at Belgaum in 1963.

Its affiliated to KLE University.

The college is recognized by the Medical Council of India and has a 1000 bedded free charitable block as well as the 1000 bedded Dr. Prabhakar Kore Hospital & Medical Research Centre on campus.The college also runs a rural hospital - Dr. Kamal Medical Centre, 150 KMs away at Ankola.The College,
