Jawaharlal Institute of Technology (JIT), Borawan was established in 1997 by the Jawaharlal Nehru Charitable Education Trust.

Jawaharlal Institute of Technology, Borawan is affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi University, Bhopal, approved by AICTE, New Delhi and recognized by D.T.E, Bhopal.

Vision and Mission:

To strive, to seek, to find and not yield until the paramount state in technical education and research is attained and also to explore new heights in engineering and technology.

To develop and create a centre of excellence that nurtures and facilitates the growth of a world class technical and managerial manpower, providing value-based services to humanity at large, with a specific focus on rural India, by constructively contributing towards social and environmental security on a sustainable basis.
