Jain University, Bengaluru was informally known as Sri Bhagawan Mahaveer Jain College established in 1990 is a renowned university in Bengaluru and leader in learning, teaching, and research and managed by Jain University Trust.

The University is declared deemed to be University under UGC act by the Ministry of Human Resource Development. It is accredited by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) with "A" Grade (CGPA Score 3.31 on a 4 Point Scale) in 2017.

The University has been awarded a certificate of ISO 9001:2008 Certification.

The University aims brings in thought leadership with a blend of academic rigour and a hands-on applicability to real-world issues. The learning environment is enriched by a team of highly talented & motivated faculty and staff and an illustrious leadership.

It is a co-educational self-financed University, providing regular courses in which is located in the urban part of Bengaluru played a pioneering role in the field of higher education.

The University also received the numbers of achievements awards in the field of education, sports, and curricular activities and ranked top 5 private University in India

The University offers three years undergraduate and two years postgraduate courses in Arts, Science, Commerce, and Management stream with various specialization. It also offers Add-On Certification.

The University also offers UGC sponsored as well as self-financed certificate and diploma courses for students to pursue with the mainstream programs.
