Jai Narayan Smarak Degree College was established in 2001.

The College is affiliated to Chatrapati Sahuji Maharaj University, Kanpur.

College has a building spread over 2000 sq. meter and has educational facility for 2200 students.

The College is working under the aegis of Shrimati Savitri Devi Smriti Vidyalay Samiti, which was established in 1985 with an aim to provide healthy education to the rural areas.

The college has carved out a name for itself in the short span of time and helps the aspirants of the area in carving out a better future bye way of good education.

Till now college was having only Arts faculty but now B. Ed. faculty has also been established with an aim to prepare future teachers.
