Established in 1971, Jagatpur P.G. College was the realization of dreams of Gandhian founders established with a mission to educate and uplift the rural populace.

The college has now become one of the foremost colleges and affiliated to Mahatma Gandhi Kashi Vidyapith, Varanasi where both rural and urban students join in large numbers.

The college is situated in Varanasi in the Uttar Pradesh state of India. It offers 7 courses across 5 streams namely Arts, Science, Commerce & Banking, IT and across 6 degrees like B.Com, B.Sc, B.A, BCA, M.A, & M.Com.

The students get a wide choice of subjects with 14 subjects in B.A., 9 subjects in B.Sc., B.Com. and B.C.A. P.G. courses are in Sociology, English, History, Home Science, Hindi, Psychology, and M.Com.
