J.K.K.N Dental College & Hospital (J.K.K.N.D.C.H), Kumarapalayam was established in 1987 under J.K.K. Rangammal Trust established in the year 1969.
The college is affiliated to Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R. Medical University, Chennai and recognized by Dental Council of India, New Delhi.
Since its inception, J.K.K.Nattaja Dental College and Hospital has made the valuable contribution in the field of Dentistry. There is two-way communication with needs felt by the academic faculty conveyed to the management while management ensures the fulfillment of the same. Governance is structured with defined roles and responsibilities for each member with accountability for the same.
Brief History:
Shri. J.K.K. Natarajah was the founder of the college under J.K.K. Rangammal Trust. The Trust is successfully maintaining several educational institutions such as Engineering, College of Pharmacy, Dental, Nursing, Arts & Science, Higher Secondary and an Elementary School.The Trust is highly geared to serve the needs of the young minds from all parts of the world.
The alumni association was formally established in the year 2005 with the initiative from Dr. Siva Kumar who was principal of our college. The JKKNDCH alumni committee was formed and this committee started the membership drive. The first alumni meet was organized in November 2012 under the chairperson of JKKNDCH. Students from all over the country and few overseas alumni’s participated in the event and made it a grand success.
Presently the alumni association is run by brand new committee members spearheaded by our present beloved principal Dr. A. SivaKumar. The new alumni committee has already conducted various alumni activities and has planned various programs for the near future to come.
The institution has well constructed academic blocks, state of art lab facilities and operation centers, knowledge resource libraries, sports infrastructure, separate accommodation for boys and girls, a general and dental hospital for health care services and practices and impulsively functioning Placement cells that assures a sure shot placement for all the students.
The mission of alumni association is to maintain a lifelong relationship with alumni through opportunities and benefits that promote interaction and engagement with the institution and facilitates their contribution to the advancement and success of the institution.

Rules & Regulations at J.K.K.N Dental College & Hospital (J.K.K.N.D.C.H), Kumarapalayam: General Rules:
Student must be courteous to the faculty, staff, and instructors and to all employees of the college and to patients in the clinic
Every student shall wear a clean decent dress, I.D. Card and white coat with college emblem
No students shall leave the classroom without permission
Ragging is strictly prohibited, any attempt to impersonate another student will be viewed seriously
The destruction of defacement of any part of the building is prohibited, any material damage brought about by drawing, sketching or painting on walls, woodwork lockers, equipment for furniture will be charged on the concerned student’s account and students will be strictly responsible for all wilful damage to the college property
Students entering lecture halls and laboratories more than five minutes after the commencement of the class will be counted absent. All students must remain until the end of the period unless granted special permission to leave them there to
An attendance of 90 percent is required at all lectures, clinic and laboratory periods. Students must present a valid excuse for absence, and in case of illness a medical certificate as per rules will be required
Grade obtained in periodical work will be considered before the terminal and university examinations. General conduct and the management of the patients will also be given due merit
Smoking is prohibited inside the campus
Students are required to spend their leisure in the library, not in canteen
Students shall not make any noise while moving from class to class/Lab/Clinic
Mobile phone usage is strictly prohibited within the campus
Rules for the Clinic:
Clinic Periods are from 9.00 am to 3.30 pm. Sunday will be a holiday
No student will be allowed in the clinics unless attired in the clinic
Students are expected to be prompt in their attendance in the clinic
All damages to chairs or other equipment will be charged on the account of the student concerned
Student will not be allowed to take patients other than those who are regularly assigned by the staff in charge
Students desiring to treat their own patients or personal friends must obtain the prior approval of the staff in charge and all such patient must apply and pass through the regular outline of admission. They must pay the prescribed fees for the treatment
Materials and supplies necessary for clinic work will be provided as per instruction from the staff in charge
A student must keep an appointment book besides the clinic record sheet of individual patients with them. They should make entry of the patient's name, Number, and type of work done in the appointment book as well as in the recording sheet
Rules & Regulations at Hostel:
Boys are not permitted to remain away from the hostel after 10 PM. without obtaining the permission of the warden. Girls are not permitted to remain away from the hostel after 7.30 PM. without obtaining permission of the warden
All correspondence about hostel should be made through the respective wardens. All applications for leave to the Principal should be submitted through the warden
Misconduct or breach of any of the hostel rules will render the offender liable to fine, suspension or dismissal from the hostel or from the institute as the case may be
No students shall remain in the hostel unless sick, during working hours of the institute / Hospital
Students in their own interest are strictly prohibited from keeping the money, jewelry or any other valuables in their rooms. These may be deposited with the warden. The institute will in no way be responsible for any theft of such articles. As such they will take care of their personal effects such as clothes, books, cycle’s money, fountain pens, watches etc.
Students are strictly prohibited from scolding or punishing any other student. In no case should a student take the law into his hands
Students are expected at all times to be properly dressed in a neat and tidy manner as per the dress code
Smoking, whistling or making the loud noise in the hostel building strictly prohibited. While in hostels, students should do nothing which may disturb other students at work
Guests:
Visit by friends and relatives to the hostel will be allowed on Sundays from 7 AM to 7 PM and on other days after institute working hours to 7 PM
Guests will not be allowed to stay within the hostel
The warden will maintain a separate register of guests in the prescribed form. The students are required to enter the particulars of the guests in the above register and they will be directed to parent’s guesthouse
The guests are allowed to stay only in the parent’s guesthouse subject to availability of accommodation
If the warden at any time finds unauthorized guests being entertained in the hostel, he/she will take such disciplinary action deemed for on the student and ask the guest to vacate the room immediately
The warden reserves the right to refuse permission for the guest to stay in the parent guesthouse if he/she feels it necessary in the interest of the Institute

Mentor-Mentee system is a program designed exclusively for students to interact with one faculty who helps the student to solve academic, and other personal problems.
